The Us Army arsenal package:
Stealth deep-strike (B-2, F-22, F-35)
Mass naval firepower (carriers, destroyers, Tomahawks)
Layered missile defense (Patriot, THAAD, Aegis)
Persistent ISR and electronic warfare
Rapid, mobile ground-based strike (HIMARS)
Extensive refueling and logistics backbone
The United States has launched large-scale strikes on Iran under what the Pentagon calls “Operation Epic Fury,” deploying one of its most powerful military buildups in the Middle East in decades, according to CNN International.
Among the key assets used are B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, fighter jets including the F-35 Lightning II, and aircraft operating from the carriers USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford.
Drones, missile defense and rocket systems
The US also introduced its LUCAS one-way attack drones in combat for the first time, alongside missile defense systems such as Patriot missile system and THAAD to counter Iranian retaliation.
Naval destroyers equipped with Tomahawk missiles and ground-based M142 HIMARS launchers have also been involved in the early phase of the campaign.
